At some point it will run out... right?

Will the United States Government ever just run out of money? Nah... They can just keep printing more right?

It's crazy to me how the government just keeps spending and spending and spending. No business and no person could be so far in debt and continue to spend but somehow the government manages to keep spending.

What's frustrating is they can't work together to find a way to at least slow down the spending.

I know when my money is running out my wife and I find lots of ways to cut back and make sure we have enough money to last until the next check.

It's not that hard folks... really. 

Just suck it up a little.

I don't mind paying a little more in taxes so long as the people handling the money are a lot more responsible with it.

I don' agree very often with the political views of the President Obama very often. However, I do agree with him on this statement:

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies. … Increasing America’s debt weakens us domestically and internationally. Leadership means that ‘the buck stops here. Instead, Washington is shifting the burden of bad choices today onto the backs of our children and grandchildren. America has a debt problem and a failure of leadership. Americans deserve better."

Too bad that's from 2006....

He's not even close to singing the same tune today....
